Not really a place to sit down, but the food is great. You can get roti and chicken curry, hassar fish, goat curry, are some dishes I recommend. They dont always have bake and shark or butterfish but when they do it's great. Almost everything Guyanese-cuisine you can find here, down to great drinks; peanut punch, soursop or sorrel. One of the better roti shops in the Jamaica - Queens Village areas.
I like this place! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because if you order for pick up through one of the food delivery apps, because you're not there to watch them but the chicken, I received more curry than chicken so when I poured it over my roti, there was more gravy than chicken. However, the curry chicken was very flavorful and was slightly spicy, which I loved, and the roti was very very good. I also had the bake and salt fish. It was good. I know salt fish is salty but I felt like they could've boiled the salt fish a little longer for a little less salt. I will be back for more curry chicken though!
The food here is awesome. Had the curry snapper and eggball. The quality and portion size was great. Owner and staff was very customer friendly. Will definitely be back to order more food.
We ordered from here a couple of times for delivery. Food here is not spicy. The bake and salt fish, and doubles are tasty. The bbq chicken chowmein was also delicious. Pastries: black eye cake and pine tarts have a more flaky crust. Almost like the kind that you find in a beef or chicken patty. Overall we enjoyed the food.
